I have some In progress photos, I was so exited here when I started to get some different colours going! I eventually started using pegs to hold the yarn bobbins, it was quite a mess!
Here we are around half way through! By this point I was getting into a lot of tangles with all the different strands of yarn, but It was really nice to see her coming together :D

And there she is! I really am quite pleased with how this blanket worked out. It was my first time doing C2C colour work, I had the chart for it and just got on with making it :3 One thing I would say, is I'm not likely to use this technique much, It took a very long time, in comparison with the majority of my blankets! It was over a whole month from start to finish (not constant crocheting of course! :P) and it was just too long to be working on a smaller project. Now, I think cushions would be ideal for this technique :3
I also made a little lovey to to go with this blanket :D I'd seen pictures of princess loveys on ravelry and pintrest, and found them adorable and wince I was already going with the Tink theme, I thought why not!

I only have this one photo, ad you barely see her wings in it, but here she is in all the adorable-ness! I really was pleased with this, I just made a dolls head, the hair is a 'wig cap' sewn on, no loose threads, all baby safe, and the skirt is a round ripple. I was really pleased with the result :)
So there are my experiments with Tinkerbell and 'making-it-up-as-I-go' style crochet! I now have to get back to another baby blanket needing a border, and my temperature, which I'm over a week behind on, again! :D
Sioni xx
